Jay Romine graduates from Bullitt East High School and studies Animal Science and Business at Eastern Kentucky University.

Jay attends the Missouri Auction School and joins his father, auctioneer Buzz Romine, in Romine Auction Service and Romine Livestock, conducting real estate, farms, equipment, and personal property auctions.
After Buzz's passing, Jay establishes another successful auction company, Wigginton-Romine Auctions, which proudly serves the Bullitt County and surrounding county communities for 20 years.
Jay steps away from Wigginton-Romine and joins forces with his son, AJ Romine, to establish JR Marketing Auctions & Realty.
A Message from Jay
Hello! My name is Jay Romine, and I am a lifelong Bullitt County resident, born and raised in Mount Washington. I am an accomplished professional and an award-winning auctioneer with 35 years of experience.
After graduating from Bullitt East High School in 1983, I went on to study Animal Science and business at Eastern Kentucky University. In 1986, I left college to follow in my father's footsteps, the late Buzz Romine, who instilled in me the belief that your word is your bond. He taught me that if you can't be true to yourself, you can't be true to your clients. One of his favorite sayings was, "If you don't get started, you can't get finished."
Buzz Romine served the communities of Bullitt, Jefferson, Spencer, Nelson, and Shelby counties throughout the 1960s,1970s and the 1980s. I joined him after attending the Missouri Auction School in 1987. Together we operated Romine Auction Service and Romine Livestock conducting auctions for real estate, equipment, farms, and personal property.
Following his passing in 2004, I stepped away from Romine Auction Service and established another successful auction company which proudly served our community and surrounding counties for 20 years.
Now, after careful consideration, I have decided to close that chapter and join forces with my son, AJ Romine. Together, we will continue to offer the same exceptional services, including auctions for real estate, personal property, equipment consignments, and charity events. With AJ's expertise, we are integrating advanced technology into our business, offering online and live auctions, as well as live simulcast auctions with real-time internet bidding.
We are excited to continue serving our community and the people of this great state of Kentucky.

Hello! I'm AJ Romine and I am the fourth generation in a family devoted to auctions and real estate services. I graduated from the World Wide College of Auctioneering and also attended Eastern Kentucky University. I am a licensed real estate professional and currently pursuing my broker's license as well. I bring a deep understanding of the real estate market and a passion for connecting buyers and sellers. I am a dedicated entrepreneur and business owner and committed to strengthening the local economy and providing top-quality auction services.
